  $NVS shares are falling as much as 10% after Novartis’ del-desiran failed the pivotal Phase 3 HARBOR study in myotonic dystrophy type 1, missing its primary endpoint on muscle function. It’s Novartis’ second major late-stage trial setback in a matter of days, following the failure of its cardiovascular drug pelacarsen. The read-through is also hitting other DM1 developers, with $DYN down ~30% and $SRPT down ~16% premarket, as investors reassess whether targeting toxic DMPK RNA will reliably translate into functional improvement.
