The index has gone sideways for three months. Most people see that as dead money. William O'Neil saw it as the most important research window of the cycle. While the market chops, the next leaders are quietly building bases. When the market turns, they are the first stocks out. Here is what to look for: - The stock is holding above its 50-day line while the index struggles - Its relative strength line is at or near new highs, meaning it is outperforming a flat market - It is forming a recognizable base near its highs: cup with handle, flat base, or double bottom - Volume dries up inside the base. The sellers are running out. - Earnings and sales growth are still accelerating underneath That is your watchlist for the next leg: $NBIS $SMTC $INTC $BE $GLW $CRM $NOW $PLTR $ABNB $FIVN $TEAM $CRWD $NET $TWLO $FROG $FTNT $PANW $RBRK $HPE $DELL $HPQ $ANET $APH $COHU $MRVL $AMD $NVDA $MU $SNDK $U $NTAP $FORM You do not need to predict when the market turns. You need to have the list ready for when it does. The index tells you when. The stocks holding up best tell you what.

The market is quietly preparing for its next major window of opportunity. Why I think we’re getting close: - Nearly 4 months of consolidation - Breadth has continued to weaken - Sentiment has been terrible - More leaders are quietly building solid bases Pay attention to the leaders and ignore the noise for the next couple of months. My current view on the market: Software is where I think the new leaders will emerge. Many are currently breaking out of massive Stage 1 bases after months of institutional accumulation. Semis are the existing leaders that just went through a much-needed reset before starting their next leg higher. Don’t get confused by day-to-day price action. IMO, it’s better to have exposure to both rather than trying to pick one side. That’s one of the reasons I currently have roughly 40% in Semis + 40% in Software. Want to find potential market leaders BEFORE their major moves? Study CAN SLIM. CAN SLIM is one of my favorite frameworks for finding potential market leaders, introduced by legendary William O’Neil. C - Current earnings growth A - Annual earnings growth N - New products, catalysts or new highs S - Supply + demand L - Leaders, not laggards I - Institutional sponsorship M - Market direction I spent some time screening AI + Tech names using this framework, while also looking for strong relative strength + stocks still building bases rather than chasing extended breakouts. A few names on my radar: $NVDA $ANET $PLTR $CRWD $MU $RBRK $NET $FTNT $PANW $LITE $SMTC $AMD $CLS $NOW $SNOW $DDOG $CRDO $FORM $HPE $COHU $VICR $FPS $IMOS $ASML $TSM Not every name will check every CAN SLIM box at the same time - and even the best company can be a bad entry if you’re chasing it after a major move. The real edge is finding companies where earnings are accelerating + relative strength is improving + institutions are accumulating while the stock is still building a healthy base. That’s when I want the name on my radar Fundamentals tell me WHAT to own. Technicals tell me WHEN to build the position.

Semiconductor names have gone through one of the biggest resets in this correction. The majority of these names are now testing their 200-day moving averages while continuing to post strong earnings beats and, in many cases, raised guidance. Technically, the charts are still damaged and will need time to repair. But the important thing is that many are holding their 200-day moving averages which is a very important level. Fundamentally, If you look at EPS growth estimates over the next 2-3 years, semiconductor names still have some of the strongest growth in the market and remain the biggest beneficiaries of the AI infrastructure boom. $NVDA $AVGO $FORM $CLS $CRDO $ALAB $COHR $LITE $COHR $MRVL $LRCX $AMD $TSM $BE $MU $SNDK $DRAM $VSH $TSEM $VICR $ANET $APH $GLW $DELL $HPQ
