$HIMX says one of its equity-method investees agreed to be acquired for $80M cash by an independent semiconductor technology company. Himax owns about 31% of the startup’s fully diluted equity. The company expects to record a $23M to $24M pre-tax gain when the deal closes, currently expected in Q4'26.
