A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. A major end-of-Q2 rebalancing wave could hit global markets, with JPMorgan estimating institutional investors may sell up to $165B of equities and rotate the same amount into bonds by quarter-end — the largest rebalance in at least four years. The biggest expected sellers include Japan’s GPIF at roughly $60B, Norway’s Norges Bank at around $40B, U.S. defined benefit pensions at about $55B, and the Swiss National Bank at up to $25B. Balanced mutual funds may partially offset the pressure with an estimated $15B of equity buying, but overall, quarter-end flows could create significant selling pressure across global stocks. 2. SpaceX $SPCX reportedly signed a major compute deal with open-source AI startup Reflection AI, giving it access to Nvidia $NVDA GB300 chips at Colossus 2, per CNBC. Reflection is expected to pay SpaceX about $150M per month starting July 1, 2026, which could total roughly $6.3B if the agreement runs through 2029. The deal adds Reflection to SpaceX’s growing AI compute customer list, alongside Anthropic, Google, and Cursor. 3. Retail investors have poured roughly $150B into the largest equity ETFs over the past month, marking the second-biggest inflow in history. The move shows just how aggressive retail demand for equities has become, even as markets continue to digest major macro and positioning risks. 4. Palantir $PLTR has secured a foundational role in the U.S. Army’s NGC2 data layer. The Army established the NGC2 common data layer baseline, a major step in modernizing command-and-control systems. Palantir Foundry will serve as the cloud data layer, while Anduril Lattice will serve as the tactical data layer, giving the Army a scalable foundation for AI-enabled tools, interoperability, and faster battlefield decision-making. 5. The top 10 most active options today by contracts traded were $TSLA with 3.3M contracts, $NVDA with 2.9M contracts, $SPCX with 1.2M contracts, $AMZN with 1.1M contracts, $AAPL with 990K contracts, $GOOGL with 970K contracts, $MSFT with 917K contracts, $NFLX with 717K contracts, $INTC with 621K contracts, and $PLTR with 587K contracts. Tesla led options activity with more than 3.3M contracts traded, followed by Nvidia at 2.9M, while SpaceX and Amazon both saw volume above 1M contracts. 6. BofA now expects the Fed to hike rates three times this year, reversing its prior view of no changes. The firm sees 25 bps hikes in September, October, and December, taking the Fed funds range to 4.25%–4.5% by year-end. BofA now expects the first Fed rate cuts to come in 2028. 7. Qualcomm $QCOM is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire AI chip startup Modular in a deal that could value the company around $4B, per Bloomberg. No final agreement has been reached, but an announcement could come in the next few weeks. Modular last raised $250M at a $1.6B valuation in September 2025, meaning the reported deal would mark a major step-up in value. 8. Trump signed two quantum-focused executive orders aimed at accelerating U.S. leadership in the space. One order pushes for a U.S. quantum computer $INFQ $QBTS $IBM $RGTI $IONQ $QNT capable of major scientific calculations, along with quantum sensors and networks, within five years. The other directs federal agencies to transition to post-quantum cryptography by 2031, strengthening cybersecurity against future quantum threats. 9. Google $GOOGL is investing about $75M in A24 as part of a multi-year AI research partnership between Google DeepMind and the film studio. The deal marks Google’s first equity stake in a studio, with A24 and DeepMind working on AI tools for film production and distribution. The agreement does not give Google access to A24’s film and TV library, while A24 Labs is already developing an AI-generated storyboard tool. 10. Micron $MU signed a strategic agreement with Anthropic covering AI memory and storage architecture, multi-year supply, Claude enterprise adoption, and an investment in Anthropic’s Series H round. Micron will provide data center memory and storage products, including HBM, DRAM, and SSDs, while the two companies work together to optimize Anthropic’s AI infrastructure for performance, energy efficiency, and token economics. 11. Nvidia $NVDA launched Halos for Robotics, a full-stack safety system for robotics and physical AI. Agility will be the first to integrate parts of Halos into the safety architecture for Digit, its humanoid robot used in logistics, manufacturing, and warehouses. The system combines Nvidia IGX Thor, Holoscan Sensor Bridge, Halos OS, external-camera safety monitoring, and an ANAB-accredited AI Systems Inspection Lab, with 40+ companies participating in the lab program. 12. Chevron $CVX signed a 20-year power deal with Microsoft $MSFT to supply natural gas-fired electricity for a proposed West Texas data center. The project, called Kilby, is expected to deliver first power by 2028 and eventually ramp to 2.67 GW. Chevron will use Permian Basin gas to power GE Vernova turbines, with the project designed to generate its own electricity instead of drawing from the grid. Chevron is developing Kilby with Engine No. 1 and expects to make a final investment decision later this year. WALL STREET IS THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH.

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here’s a full recap: $NVDA CEO Jensen Huang pushed back on the recent stock market selloff, saying NVIDIA is still at the beginning of the AI supercycle and that market weakness should be viewed as a buying opportunity. He said investors “should be very happy” because they can now buy at a discount, adding that everyone should be excited about where AI is heading. Jensen also said it is a “foregone conclusion” that AI will become global infrastructure, similar to how the internet became core infrastructure for the world. 2. Google and $NVDA are reportedly exploring $INTC as a backup chip manufacturing partner as TSMC capacity remains constrained, according to The Information. Google has reportedly already placed an order with Intel to manufacture more than 3 million TPUs in 2028 after testing Intel’s advanced packaging technology. Nvidia has not placed an order yet, but is reportedly testing Intel’s tech for its 2028 Feynman-series processor, which is expected to combine four graphics chips into a single unit. For Intel, the near-term opportunity appears to be in advanced packaging, with SK Hynix also testing whether its HBM can work reliably with Intel’s packaging technology. 3. $AAPL unveiled “Siri AI” at WWDC 2026, transforming Siri into a more conversational AI assistant with current world knowledge, on-device context, screen awareness, and its own dedicated Siri app. A beta version is expected later this year, with Apple planning deeper integration across iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro. 4. Global investors are selling South Korean stocks at a record pace, with foreign investors offloading -$801 million of Kospi-listed shares on Monday after pulling -$10 billion from the market last week. Foreign investors have now sold South Korean equities in every trading session over the past month, bringing year-to-date outflows to -$75 billion, according to Goldman Sachs. Meanwhile, domestic retail and institutional investors have been on the other side of the trade, buying roughly +$69 billion over the same period. 5. The top 10 most active options today by contracts traded were $TSLA with 3.6M contracts, $NVDA with 3.2M contracts, $AAPL with 2.1M contracts, $MSFT with 831K contracts, $AMZN with 710K contracts, $INTC with 696K contracts, $MU with 601K contracts, $GOOGL with 587K contracts, $META with 568K contracts, and $NOK with 444K contracts. Tesla led the market with more than 3.6M options contracts traded, followed by Nvidia at 3.2M and Apple at 2.1M. 6. Robinhood’s Top 10 most-held investments were updated for June, and the list stayed largely the same with one major change: $AMD replaced $NFLX, which had been in the top 10 for the past few months. AMD has surged 118% YTD, becoming a major retail winner for investors who backed Lisa Su and the company’s AI/chip comeback story. The other most-held names on $HOOD remain major retail favorites: $META, $GOOGL, $AMZN, $MSFT, $NVDA, $PLTR, $F, $MSFT, and $TSLA. 7. OpenAI said it has confidentially submitted an S-1 to the SEC, giving the company the option to go public, though no IPO timing has been decided yet. The company said it announced the filing because it expected the news to leak, but noted that it “may be a while” before any public listing because there are still things it wants to do that may be easier as a private company. OpenAI added that the decision involves a complicated set of tradeoffs, but filing now gives it flexibility to move toward an IPO sooner if that becomes the best path. 8. $AAPL Apple is teaming up with $GOOGL Google and $NVDA NVIDIA to bring more compute power to Apple Intelligence. At WWDC, Apple said it worked with Google and NVIDIA to bring its Private Cloud Compute approach to Google Cloud infrastructure, with Apple’s largest AI model, AFM Cloud Pro, set to run on Google Cloud. Apple said many Apple Intelligence requests will still be handled on-device, while more complex requests will be routed through its own Private Cloud Compute platform, including a new world knowledge service built inside that system. Apple also emphasized that it is not using Google Search as the foundation of the product and said it is now on the third generation of Apple Foundation Models. 9. Margin debt in China is surging to record levels, with stock market margin debt now reaching roughly $431 billion, more than doubling over the past two years. That total is now 22% above the 2015 Chinese stock market bubble peak of about $354 billion. At the same time, margin trading activity has also accelerated sharply, with volume on the Shanghai Stock Exchange averaging around $22 billion per day over the last two weeks, near record highs. Margin trading volume has now tripled over the past 12 months and is back in line with the levels seen during the 2015 peak. 10. $AMZN $GLW Amazon announced a multibillion-dollar agreement with Corning to supply optical fiber, cable, and connectivity solutions for Amazon’s U.S. data center infrastructure. The deal is expected to create 1,000 advanced manufacturing jobs at Corning’s North Carolina facilities and support hundreds of additional construction jobs. Amazon said the agreement will help strengthen the U.S. fiber optics supply chain as demand for AI data centers continues to accelerate. 11. SpaceX’s IPO is reportedly seeing overwhelming demand, with the offering said to be well oversubscribed and institutional orders expected to close Wednesday at 4pm ET, according to Bloomberg. At a reported $135 per share, SpaceX would raise roughly $75 billion at an estimated $1.8 trillion valuation, which could make it the largest IPO in history. The deal is expected to price on June 11 and begin trading on June 12 under the ticker $SPCX. 12. Retail investors piled into semis and AI names in May, with the largest single-stock net inflows led by $MU at +$6.5B, followed by $NVDA at +$5.9B, $TSLA at +$4.9B, $SNDK at +$3.5B, and $AMD at +$1.9B. The data shows retail buyers aggressively adding exposure to the AI/chip trade, with memory, GPUs, EVs, and semiconductor names dominating the month’s biggest inflow leaders. BILL ACKMAN IS BACK IN NETFLIX. He first invested in $NFLX back in 2022 at around $350 a share. $1.1B in. He sold it for a 40% loss after a few months, losing $400M. He took that money and put it into Google, which did well, but during the same time, Netflix went up 650% from the lows. At the time, he said the lesson he learned from that experience was that he felt better about trusting his intuition and making decisions regardless of the outcome. The stock is now down down 50% and he’s back in, his logic below: “Looking forward, we expect Netflix to compound revenue at a double-digit growth rate, with content costs growing more slowly than revenue driving continued margin expansion. Combined with a robust buyback program, we estimate earnings should compound at close to 20% annually. We believe the company's current valuation multiple represents a substantial discount for a business with such a strong growth profile and dominant market position.”

$NFLX completely getting demolished cheapest it’s been in years, but every time I think of buying I remember… - no hit shows leading to massive growth like Squid Game for example - they tried to buy $WBD and $ROKU, now $LION which makes me think they really are struggling to create content - the only reason they beat EPS last Q was because of the $3B breakup fee, otherwise no growth - Mag 7s are better businesses trading at lower multiples what’s the argument to go long here other than it is bottoming? which I agree it probably is…but is risk to reward amazing here even if it doesn’t go that much lower?

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. SanDisk $SNDK laid out its investor day targets, guiding for mid-to-high teens revenue growth, roughly 80% non-GAAP gross margins, and about 50% adjusted free cash flow margins. The company also expects to return 100% of excess cash to shareholders. SanDisk highlighted its HBF technology as a potential major efficiency unlock for AI inference, saying internal testing showed 1 HBF GPU could run the same model that required 8 HBM GPUs, implying 8x CapEx efficiency, while 4 HBF GPUs matched the token output of 8 HBM GPUs, implying 2x GPU efficiency. $SNDK was up 14%. 2. U.S. PPI came in slightly cooler on the headline number, rising 4.7% YoY versus 4.9% expected and 0.0% MoM versus 0.2% expected. Core PPI was mixed, rising 4.2% YoY versus 4.1% expected, but only 0.2% MoM versus 0.3% expected. Nvidia $NVDA remained the fund’s largest holding at the end of H1, followed by Microsoft $MSFT and Apple $AAPL. Norway’s fund now owns roughly 1.5% of all publicly listed companies globally and has become one of the world’s largest institutional investors in AI-related stocks. 4. OpenAI’s annualized revenue has reportedly topped $40B, roughly doubling its run rate from the end of 2025, according to Bloomberg. July run-rate revenue rose more than 20% MoM, driven by strength in Codex, subscriptions, and early ad sales, highlighting how quickly OpenAI’s monetization is scaling across both consumer and business lines. 5. Reddit $RDDT is set to join the S&P 500 before the open on August 18, replacing AvalonBay Communities $AVB. AvalonBay is being acquired by Equity Residential $EQR, with the combined company expected to remain in the index under the new name Vivmark Residential $VMRK. S&P Dow Jones Indices also announced that Sun Communities $SUI will join the S&P MidCap 400 before the open on August 20, replacing Webster Financial $WBS, which is being acquired by Banco Santander $SAN. 6. A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. Tomorrow’s FOMC meeting will be Kevin Warsh’s first as Fed Chair, and the market will be watching closely to see how he frames inflation, rates, and the path toward potential cuts. One major tailwind is that oil came down to $77 today, which helps ease inflation pressure and lowers the risk of another energy-driven CPI spike. If Warsh acknowledges that cooling oil prices are helping the inflation picture, it could give markets more confidence that the Fed has room to turn less restrictive over time. 2. The 2x SpaceX ETF had more than $3 billion in volume today versus about $1 billion yesterday. Nearly every product is already around $100 million or more in volume, while $SPCH led the pack with $1.3 billion traded, reportedly the highest Day Two volume ever recorded for an ETF, far above $IBIT’s roughly $500 million. SpaceX also officially announced plans to acquire Cursor parent company Anysphere for $60 billion. Ahead of the $SPCX IPO, Gwynne Shotwell described the relationship as a close AI collaboration, saying both companies were evaluating each other’s models and that Cursor’s training data was “excellent,” while SpaceX brings major compute capacity. 3. Wells Fargo raised its year-end 2026 $SPX S&P 500 target to 7,950, citing several supportive market factors. The firm pointed to a reset in investor sentiment following the Nasdaq 100 selloff, an improving setup for CTA buying, easing macro risk after the peace deal, continued supportive liquidity, and a higher 2026 EPS forecast of $340. 4. The top 10 most active options today by contracts traded were $TSLA with 2.0M contracts, $NVDA with 1.8M contracts, $SPCX with 1.7M contracts, $AAPL with 881K contracts, $INTC with 648K contracts, $NFLX with 573K contracts, $MU with 559K contracts, $AMZN with 511K contracts, $MSFT with 486K contracts, and $SOFI with 477K contracts. Tesla led the market with more than 2.0M options contracts traded, followed by Nvidia at 1.8M and SpaceX at 1.7M. 5. $AAPL Apple reportedly plans to launch camera-equipped AirPods in late 2027, according to Bloomberg. The cameras are not expected to be used for taking photos or videos, but instead to help Siri understand the user’s surroundings and provide more visual context. The new AirPods could debut around the same time as Apple’s second-generation foldable iPhone and its 20th-anniversary iPhone. 6. Microsoft $MSFT is reportedly moving Copilot Cowork to a usage-based pricing model and may introduce a Microsoft-hosted DeepSeek model as a lower-cost AI option for enterprise customers, according to Bloomberg. The cheaper model is expected to roll out in the coming weeks as Microsoft looks to give businesses more flexible and affordable AI tools. 7. Foreign investors sold another $801 million worth of Kospi-listed shares on Monday, adding to the $10 billion in outflows seen last week. According to Goldman Sachs, foreign investors have now sold South Korean stocks every trading session over the past month, bringing year-to-date net sales to roughly $75 billion. Meanwhile, domestic retail and institutional investors have absorbed much of the selling, buying about $69 billion over the same period. 8. The Financial Times reports that the Trump administration is considering a deal framework that could include sanctions relief and a $300 billion private-sector reconstruction fund for Iran if Tehran agrees to a final nuclear agreement and maintains peace. The fund would reportedly depend on Iran’s compliance and be financed by companies rather than governments, with potential interest from businesses in Europe, Asia, and the U.S. because of Iran’s large population and energy resources. If accurate, the proposal would effectively act like an economic rebuilding package for Iran while also opening the door for U.S. and global companies to enter the Iranian market if sanctions are lifted. 9. Robinhood $HOOD plans to cut about 10% of its workforce, or roughly 290 roles, as the company looks to operate more efficiently and flatten management layers. CEO Vlad Tenev said Robinhood’s business “has never been stronger,” but emphasized that the company cannot operate as a heavily layered organization and needs to remain a lean, hyper-focused team. 10. SoFi CEO Anthony Noto purchased 13,888 shares of $SOFI at $18.06 per share, spending roughly $250,000 on the open-market buy. Following the purchase, Noto now owns 11,960,507 shares of SoFi, worth about $211.8 million. 11. Snap $SNAP launched standalone consumer AR glasses priced at $2,195, but the stock was down 10% on the day. The glasses do not require a phone, puck, or tether and feature a 51° field of view with transparent LCoS displays, up to four hours of mixed use plus four extra charges from the case, electrochromic lenses that tint outdoors, and a built-in AI assistant that can see what the user is looking at. Snap has spent 11 years and more than $3 billion trying to make AR glasses a mainstream product. 12. Amazon $AMZN plans to invest several billion dollars to build a new data center campus in Montgomery County, Missouri, creating more than 400 full-time data center jobs, thousands of construction roles, and funding upgrades to local road and water infrastructure. A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. U.S. Central Command forces have begun launching powerful strikes against Iranian targets in response to Iran’s attacks on three commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM said the strikes are meant to impose heavy costs for targeting commercial shipping crewed by innocent civilians in an international waterway, calling Iran’s aggression unwarranted, dangerous, and a clear violation of the ceasefire. WTI Crude was up 5% today as the S&P fell 0.5%. $SMH, the semiconductor index, was down 4%. 2. Palantir $PLTR expanded its partnership with GNP Seguros, the largest insurance company in Mexico. GNP will use Palantir to detect claims fraud, improve underwriting precision, process claims more effectively, and expand access to high-quality insurance coverage across Mexico. Another sign Palantir’s international expansion continues. 3. The U.S. is revoking a general license that authorized the sale of Iranian oil, according to a U.S. official. The move comes after attacks on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, with the official calling Iran’s actions in the strategic waterway “wholly unacceptable” and warning they will be met with consequences. 4. DeepSeek has reportedly increased hiring of chip-design engineers in recent months as it works on a new chip designed for inference. This adds to a growing trend that keeps pressuring the Nvidia $NVDA narrative: Google $GOOGL and Amazon $AMZN are building major internal chip businesses, Cerebras and Broadcom $AVGO are partnering with OpenAI on chips, Anthropic is reportedly looking to secure custom silicon supply, and now DeepSeek may be moving in the same direction. 5. Netflix $NFLX signed video licensing deals with PMX, BuzzFeed Studios, Condé Nast, Hearst, People Inc., and Tastemade, per Variety. Starting Aug. 3, Netflix will carry publisher videos ranging from 2 minutes to 20+ minutes across the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. 6. Penguin Solutions $PENG beat Q3 FY26 expectations with revenue of $478.7M vs. $421.4M estimated and adjusted EPS of $0.84 vs. $0.56 estimated. Net sales hit a quarterly record, up 48% YoY, driven by Integrated Memory revenue more than doubling to $275.1M. The company also raised FY26 guidance, now seeing non-GAAP EPS of $2.60 ± $0.05 vs. $2.28 estimated and net sales growth of 22% ± 2%, up from prior guidance of 12% ± 5%. AI infrastructure momentum also continued, with 4 new customer logos, NVIDIA AI Factory Specialized Partner status, and an expanded ClusterWareAI platform. 7. The top 10 most active options today by contracts traded were $NVDA with 2.3M contracts, $TSLA with 1.9M contracts, $AAPL with 875K contracts, $MU with 698K contracts, $INTC with 643K contracts, $SPCX with 588K contracts, $AMZN with 569K contracts, $META with 565K contracts, $PLTR with 515K contracts, and $MSFT with 508K contracts. 8. Amazon $AMZN launched an eight-part U.S. investment-grade bond sale expected to price today, per Bloomberg. The deal is reportedly around $25B and spans maturities from 2029 to 2066, with expected ratings of A1 from Moody’s, AA from S&P, and AA- from Fitch. 9. Meta $META is rolling out its first proprietary AI image-generation model, Muse Image, inside the Meta AI chatbot. The model will also be embedded across Meta’s apps, including Instagram and WhatsApp, allowing users to generate images from text prompts or edit existing pictures. Advertisers will soon get access as well, giving Meta its own image-creation technology instead of relying on third-party models. 10. Raymond James initiated coverage of SpaceX $SPCX with a Strong Buy rating and an $800 price target, implying a roughly $10.5T market cap. Analyst Brian Gesuale called SpaceX “one of the defining industrial infrastructure companies of the 21st century,” arguing that industrialized access to orbit and AI are creating the biggest infrastructure convergence since the Internet. Raymond James projects SpaceX can grow from $38.5B in revenue and $17.7B in EBITDA today to more than $837B in revenue and $696B in EBITDA by 2031. 11. Microsoft $MSFT is starting to use its own MAI models inside certain Excel and Outlook features, replacing OpenAI and Anthropic for some tasks, per Bloomberg. Tens of thousands of AI prompts in those apps are now reportedly being handled each week by Microsoft’s internal models, signaling the company is increasingly shifting parts of its AI stack in-house. 12. Morgan Stanley says the memory trade $MU $SNDK $WDC $STX may be hitting a peak rate of change, but not the end of the cycle. The firm says memory remains cyclical, with pricing, inventory, and earnings revision momentum potentially nearing a point where the market starts to move sideways or correct. Still, MS views any pullback as happening inside a broader structural bull market for AI capex. Near term, the key focus is earnings and hyperscaler commentary, especially around whether AI spend, token monetization, open-source competition, and “chipflation” impact guidance and margins. Morgan Stanley remains bullish longer term, citing 35%–40% earnings growth in 2027 and the ramp of agentic AI, but prefers areas where the money is actually being spent, favoring DRAM and legacy memory over NAND, while staying least positive on memory module makers. WALL STREET IS THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH.
