  Quite a bit of improvement across semis today. Most names respected their key VWAP levels. $MU: Nice bounce off VWAP. As I've said many times, don't just rely on moving averages - learn VWAP. A close above the 50D MA could kick off the next uptrend. $DRAM: Volume doesn't lie. $P: Still holding the double-bottom. $NVDA: healthy backtest of the 9/21 EMA after the ema crossover.

  IBM's earnings had one interesting takeaway: CEO Arvind Krishna: "In the last few weeks of June, we saw clients shift their quarterly CapEx spend toward servers, storage, and memory purchases to secure supply-constrained infrastructure ahead of expected price increases." He also said clients were distracted by "rapidly-evolving, industry-wide cybersecurity concerns," and that IBM "did not anticipate the magnitude of the CapEx reprioritization." That's a constructive read-through for AI infrastructure names like $P $NTAP $MU $STX $WDC $ANET $DELL. while cybersecurity continues to show impressive relative strength with $RBRK $CRWD $PANW $NET.

  ACTIVIST JANA PARTNERS BUILDS NEW STAKE IN EVERPURE $P Jana Partners has built a new position in Everpure, formerly Pure Storage, and is expected to soon disclose it in a regulatory filing, per Reuters. Jana began building the stake in Q1 2026 and requested confidential treatment from the SEC, keeping it off its 13F. It held more than 1 million shares at the end of Q1, though the current size could not be learned. Everpure, based in Santa Clara, renamed itself in early 2026 to reflect a shift toward an AI-focused data management platform from data storage. It has a market value of about $23B and beat estimates for its fiscal Q1 ended in May. Jana, run by Scott Ostfeld, previously pushed Frontier Communications to sell itself to Verizon $VZ and is urging payments company Fiserv to divest nonessential businesses.
