  $SNPS SIGNS $1B+ MULTI-YEAR CUSTOM SILICON DEAL WITH $AMZN Amazon will use Synopsys silicon IP and engineering software across its custom chip portfolio, including Nitro, Graviton and Trainium. Amazon will also become the lead customer for Synopsys’ application-optimized silicon IP business. The deal introduces a license-plus-royalty model, meaning Synopsys payments can grow alongside Amazon’s chip production volumes. Synopsys will also expand its own use of AWS infrastructure and optimize more of its software for Trainium and Graviton.
