  One of the biggest AI infrastructure themes I'm watching over the next 3-5 years is optics. Every new AI data center requires significantly more high-speed optical transceivers, coherent optics, optical DSPs, switches, and fiber connectivity than traditional cloud infrastructure. As clusters grow from tens of thousands to eventually millions of GPUs, the demand for bandwidth grows exponentially. That's why I believe Lumentum $LITE, Marvell Technology $MRVL, Ciena $CIEN, Applied Optoelectronics $AAOI, and Corning $GLW could be some of the biggest beneficiaries over the next few years. - Lumentum $LITE: EPS expected to grow from $6.21 to $28.70 by 2028. - Ciena $CIEN: EPS expected to grow from $3.09 to $14.40 by 2028. - Marvell Technology $MRVL: EPS expected to grow from $2.96 to $9.20 by 2029. - Applied Optoelectronics $AAOI: EPS expected to improve from -$0.66 to $4.75 by 2027. - Corning $GLW: EPS expected to grow from $2.11 to $5.84 by 2028. On average, these optics leaders are expected to grow EPS by nearly 3.8x (+279%) over the next 3-5 years, highlighting just how powerful the AI infrastructure buildout could be for the sector. Other names I'm watching in the ecosystem include Arista Networks $ANET, Coherent $COHR, Cisco $CSCO, Viavi Solutions $VIAV Compute, networking, optics, memory, storage, cooling, and power all need to scale together. I believe optics will become one of the most important picks-and-shovels themes of the AI infrastructure buildout over the next decade. Most of these stocks are currently testing or sitting near their 200-day moving averages, which I view as a healthy reset within a longer-term uptrend rather than the end of it. If AI infrastructure spending continues to accelerate, I believe this group could still be in the early innings of a much larger secular growth story.
