$NFLX completely getting demolished cheapest it’s been in years, but every time I think of buying I remember… - no hit shows leading to massive growth like Squid Game for example - they tried to buy $WBD and $ROKU, now $LION which makes me think they really are struggling to create content - the only reason they beat EPS last Q was because of the $3B breakup fee, otherwise no growth - Mag 7s are better businesses trading at lower multiples what’s the argument to go long here other than it is bottoming? which I agree it probably is…but is risk to reward amazing here even if it doesn’t go that much lower?

JUDGE ORDERS TEMPORARY PAUSE OF PARAMOUNT'S WARNER BROS DEAL A coalition of states led by California won a 14-day pause of Paramount's $PSKY $110B acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery $WBD, per Reuters. US District Judge Araceli Martinez-Olguin will hold a hearing August 3 on the states' request to delay the merger further while the underlying lawsuit, which could take months, proceeds. California and 11 states sued July 13, arguing the deal would create a media company with power to raise prices in film and television, and that closing it would let Paramount begin cutting jobs and sharing sensitive information with Warner Bros in ways hard to undo if the merger is later found illegal. Paramount has said the lawsuit distorts settled antitrust law and that delaying the deal only harms entertainment workers. Under the merger agreement, Paramount owes Warner Bros shareholders a 25-cent-per-share "ticking fee," about $7M a day, for each day past September 30 the deal remains delayed. news via @ralliesai https://t.co/owLFsLBcrp
